| 1889 | I.T. | Grat was commissioned a deputy marshal for the Muskogee court. Bob Dalton was a deputy marshal for the federal court in Kansas in Wichita. Emmett working as cowboy. |
| March 21, 1890 | Pawhaska, I.T. | Bob & Emmett Dalton arrested on charge of introducing intoxicating liquor into Osage Nation. |
| July 1890 | Claremore I.T. | Bob Grat & Emmett Dalton accused of stealing horses. Bob & Emmett flee to CA Grat arrested but turn loose for lack of evidence. |
| February 6th, 1891 | Alila, CA | The Southern Pacific RR train was robbed. Dalton boys accused. Bob and Emmett flee to OK. Grat and Bill arrested. |
| May 1891 | Wharton, O.T. | 5 members of the Gang holdup the Santa Fe RR train. Take: $500 |
| August 1891 | Hennessy, O.T. | Deputy Marshal Ed Short arrests Charley Bryant, while taking him to Wichita, KS the prisoner secures handgun, and in insuing fight both men are killed. |
| Sept. 1891 | Lillietta, I.T. | 4 members of gang rob the MK&T RR train. Take: $2,500 |
| Sept. 18, 1891 | CA | Grat escaped from jail. Returns to OK to join up with brothers. |
| June 1, 1892 | Red Rock, O.T. | 7 members of the gang rob the Santa Fe RR train. Take: $ 50 |
| July 14, 1892 | Adair, I.T. | 8 members of the gang rob the MK&T RR train. Shoot
it out with railroad gaurds. In insuing gun battle 1 innocent bystander
is killed another wounded. 2 gaurds also wounded. Take: undisclosed amount of cash. |
| October 5, 1892 | Coffeyville, KS | Fatal attempt to rob two banks. 8 people killed. Citizens
George Clubine, Charles Brown, Lucuis M. Baldwin, Marshall Connelly, along
with Bob & Grat Dalton, Bill Power, & Dick Broadwell were killed,

| March 1893 | Independence, Ks | Emmett Dalton pleads guilty, sentenced to life in prison. Sent to Kansas State Penitentiary |
| Nov. 4 1907 | Emmett granted full pardon by Governor Hoch of KS | |
| Sept. 1, 1908 | Bartlesville, OK | Emmett marries Julie Johnson Gilstrap Lewis. They live in Bartlesville for a couple of years before moving to California. |
| May 1931 | Coffeyville, KS | Julia & Emmett Dalton return to Coffeyville for visit. They are treated as celebraties. Emmett has marker placed on brothers grave. |
| July 13, 1937 | Long Beach, CA | Emmett dies at his home. |
