| Oct. 12, 1892 | John J Kloehr, hero of Coffeyville Raid, receives letter threatening
citizens of Coffeyville for killing the Dalton brothers. Bill Doolin is
suspected as author. Bill Doolin, Newcomb, Pierce, & Ol Yantis suspected in Caney, KS train robbery. Take: $1,500 |

Bill Doolin, Bitter Creek Newcomb, and Ol Yantis. Take: $1,697 Emmett Dalton arraigned in district court for his participation in Coffeyville Raid. Pleads guilty to second degree murder and sentenced to life in prison. |

| June 1896 | Dynamite Dick Clifton is arrested on a whiskey charge in Texas. Deputy Marshal Frank Canton takes him back to Oklahoma on a murder charge. Deliever him to Guthrie jail on June 22. |
| July 5, 1896 | Bill Doolin, Dynamite Dick, and 12 other prisoners escape from Guthrie jail |
